You aren’t the room Yuke You are just a wonky cafe table with a missing rubber pad on the end of one leg.

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

Bronte is a solid wave on its day. Plenty of grunt.

Dicky and shelly cams now say they are down and aware of the problem.Trev wrote: ↑Sun Nov 21, 2021 12:48 pmBeen doing the same at Dicky Beach up here.buddy wrote: ↑Sun Nov 21, 2021 11:11 amI've been wondering why the Shelly beach ballina cam on surfline always looks like the conditions are clean even when I know they're not for the last week at least.
Seems that they're using an old pre-recorded loop over and over again instead of just saying the cam is down.
Fuck that company sucks.
Maybe this is the best forum to give them feedback
Re: Just general surfing stuff
It’s like there is a snitch in these forums giving commercial information to Surfline.
Same happened with Crabmeats weekend surf report talking to a strong nor east wind forecast right as the southerly was marching up the coast.

They upgraded the Dicky Beach one a while back and it gives pretty clear, long range views of my local.

Re: Just general surfing stuff
Surf historian, Matt Warshaw, put out his list a couple a years ago of his top 10 most advanced surfers of all time. That is, the world’s most advanced wave-riders, relative to their era.
1. George Greenough
2. Mike Stewart
3. Merv Larson
4. Wayne Lynch
5. Shaun Tomson
6. Kelly Slater
7. Laird Hamilton
8. Larry Bertlemann
9. Phil Edwards
10. Dane Reynolds
I hadn’t heard of number 3, Merv Larson.
Wow! I don’t think anybody else was pulling these moves in the late 1960s.

Re: Just general surfing stuff
Oh, yeah. I think I’ve still got an old Surfer Mag that had an article about him in it.
Yep, watching old footage of Wayne Lynch he was at another level to everyone else.
Basically the only person who’s idea of riding waves was what everyone tries to do now.
