That's all correct, Trev.
Yeah it all made sense to me.
Interesting comment about a trend towards easterly rather than soueasterly swell direction.
What's the go there?

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

Turned on the Newie context over on Swellnet.
The forecast must be dire if they are running the comp in a 1 turn closeout shorie.

The answer to that gets a bit complex Trev.
The location, intensity and frequency of different types of storms are changing, probably due to climate change but the wave records aren't super long and there are a whole lot of factors (SAM, ENSO etc).
Under climate change projections there are more TCs and ECLs, giving more ene and e swells and fewer s swells. The impact on frequency of southern ocean swell sources is a bit less clear I think, but they'll be more powerful.
Try and find some stuff by Mitch Harley or Rosh Ranasinghe.

Thanks.
I'll look them up.
I only ask because over the last two years I've noticed a preponderance of easterly swells in my area.
Probably just a local aberration though.
