Trying times this morning. Small, crowded and good for developing patience and a philosophical attitude to surfers with rudimentary skills being assertive in the line up.

Water is as warm as I can remember it in Sydney.

Seems ripe for a mid-autumn ECL.

I’d believe it. Makes sitting around watching five people paddling for every little lump that comes through almost bearable.

I surfed very comfortably in boardies this morning. Says it’s 20 degrees down here. Felt warmer.

Officially 24.9 on the MHL buoy off Long Reef.

Super low tide this arvo. Only time I can remember seeing the actual rock shelf on the reef at Bronte exposed. Usually just see the rocks on top of it.
