Gunna go see a doc if I can't see some improvement tomorrow.
Open, ulcerous, just can't get any skin healing happening.

I didn't surf yesterday, it just looked sharky and shaky and cold. Nobody else out, an hour from a hospital, no mobile reception.

Two surfs yesterday. One crap….the afternoon one was a bit of fun. Big for me to have two bashes. A bit stiff.

Started with Manuka Honey.
Thats my go to for wound management- scrub and clean with tea tree and wet wound manage with Manuka.
Usually works a treat but this must be some weird, fcuk-off bacteria that was in the soil.
Did not give 2 fcuks about Manuka.

Normally I barely need to do that- my immune system is so attuned to the microbiological assemblage at Lennox Point I give it a wash and it heals up very quickly.

Couldn't deal with the scrape from a dirty bike rack.

Cleanse. It's a more powerful antibiotic and anesthesia than ti tree oil without the stinging.
Dilute it, otherwise it can be dangerous.
