:shock: Had a couple of beers at the little beach in front of my joint today. Close to Long Beach and Rabbit I. Our dog swam. I didn't. 4 kids 8 - 12 yrs old were in the water for awhile. Does not feel sharky in there. Just about everywhere outside does

COFFIN BAY COMMUNITY NOTICE BOARD
A 6m white shark just knocked a guy in a kayak near the coffin bay boat ramp. Gave him a fright but he’s ok

And 2 days go
12 to 13 foot white pointer at coffin bay 5pm today between long beach and dutton bay

And same day
White pointer spotted between Long Beach and Rabbit Island - Coffin Bay - about 13ft - 5pm. (Shark sighted by G.Letton)

No detail yet, but a woman was bitten on the leg at Beachport, SE SA this morning

The CB boat ramp is pretty much in town. The wharf if < 1 km away. A favourite place for kids to jump off the jetty. School hols so very busy. Hope nothing bad happens

They have left Streaky Bay, mm. Thanks for your concern. They are still on the Eyre Peninsula. Some of their friends rocked up at that beach for a surf 10 minutes after the fatal attack. Sad business.

40 degrees here today, lotta people swimming at the metro beaches. Looks like she was snorkelling or scuba diving, popular spot for that. Shark got hold of her head :shock:

They say most heat escapes from your head. Assuming that losing half of it from a shark would help with that process.
