Unreal for a 100 pluser. He piles in the foam does DVS, I've ordered a MAD WASP but asked him to go a bit easy on the vol

Actually I had another look at the ad, I just sold a board to that guy. He would have been 75 kilos at a guess. Probably be able to negotiate that board down as he's up a board he won't ride.

Very fast and way too corky in anything head high or bigger - unless you weighed 110kg

I made a 6'2" x 22 x 3 keel fish. I was 80kg or so and basically sanded the skin off a 6'2" kneeboard blank and glassed it 6x66. I got a local shaper to glass on some fibreglass keels. Surfed it for about 3 years as a daily driver. I bought 3 boards in that time but always went back to it. The weight was great. Surfed it at mystics and it went great. Got pitched half the time but if you made the drop, damn, it flew, and it turned just fine. Rails in the tail were square and sharp as fkukk. Foolishly attempted to reshape it into a smaller lighter version and fkukked it up.

Wish I still had it

Surfblanks do machine shaped fish. All 22" wide, so I'd go 5'6" or so.

That's what I made pacman out of from memory. I should've left it. It was bullet proof, and went great. Total fluke that worked insane. Cleaned the wax off after a few years and it was basically new lol. The weight wasn't a disadvantage. Guess I had so much foam to compensate haha

6'6" is a lot of fish though.

That's a big fish but I've ridden thin longer fish with nice foils with domed decks that have worked well (for me anyway). I will say they don't like going vert that much but neither can I and once it gets big they feel a little flat and too fast.

The 6'6? I think it would be an out of control bus for anyone smaller than Ricky May.

That's what Murray Burton reckoned he was working on with the Fat Bullet. Debate able whether putting a pointier nose and tail on a fish still makes it a fish. After riding mine for a while I think I'd say yes.
My fishcuit was 6'6".
Extremely frustrating but I had some amazing waves on it too.

You're 6'2" or something and 90+ aren't you? Davros mentioned DVS makes them hefty so it'd be a fun board for someone your size. Cruisy drivy fun. Technically too big for you but jeez, you could have some fun on it over summer.

Yeah, a bit like riding a cross between a loaf of bread and a bar of soap.
Had one wave on it at Sandon Point that literally went faster than I could think. Took off, came flying up into that horse shoe part and was gunning it through the inside before I had time to register anything. Got off and went....what happened?
Next wave from the same takeoff....got seriously smashed.
Had a great session on it at the super crowded Pass.
