Nth Narra Thug faces court.

A surfer pleaded guilty today to charges stemming from surf rage incidents at North Narrabeen beach last year.

John Vincent Dunne, 35, of Balgowlah, admitted assault, stalking and property damage charges at the Downing Centre Local Court.

He faced 29 charges relating to incidents from July to December last year.

The court heard Dunne, a member of North Narrabeen Boardriders Club, harassed surfers from other beaches, telling a number to "f--- off" back to their own beaches.

In December last year he slapped and spat on a lifeguard at North Narrabeen beach, accusing the lifeguard of eyeballing him.

Magistrate Hugh Dillon continued Dunne's bail and adjourned the matter to September 18 for sentence.

The thing that amuses me about all this is that this 'local' tough guy is not even from Narrabeen. He's from Balgowlah, yet he was still happy to tell others to go back to 'their own beaches'

You can all just stop your frothin' on the Balgowlah v Northy tip.

JD is from Northy, if you'd ever met him, surfed with him, or (hopefully not) been smacked out by him - you'd know for sure he's from NN. That and he's a member of NN Boardriders. They don't let just anyone join that club.

I think he's moved he was in Eleanora Heights I thought when he faced court at Manly, and conditions of bail was he was banned from certain beaches.

At the end of the day the life of a bully is a dangerous one . He'll get his and maybe more. It is amusing though that he's an enforcer at Narrabeen and comes from Balgowlah. Bizzare.

Hmmm - it seems he's not one to stay in one spot for very long, so I'd suggest where he's currently living would have little to do with where he's actually from. He's moved at least twice since his arrest.

With such a charming and sunny disposition

, it's not hard to imagine why that would be. Can you imagine having him for a flatmate?
