You may want to try Bennett at Brookvale, they have some home brand fins that may be cheaper than mkt FCS etc...

Those shapers ones were ok, better than the crap glass flex fcs shit. But they're just ok.

I did buy some cheap surfinz black plastic ones. They have carbon in them, and for plastic fins are quite good. I've used them in my 5'4" sweet potato thing, and now my 7' rehab board, and they are really quite good fins. Drivy and fast, hold through turns and don't feel "floppy" in any way.

I got them as a stop gap while I saved for a set of quality quad fins, but that was 2 years ago and I haven't looked into "proper" fins still.

A set of quad fins ain't cheap from fcs

I'll happily drop them off at Tits. I think Beerfan got some from shapers that were about $40 and OK too, or you could try a surf shop or shaper, most people don't ever use those things. Might be called production sets or something.

You could also just get a set of rears, seems to be a rash of guys on ebay flogging the chinafins now.
Thanks MF, just wanna see how the Face Dancer goes as a quad. Simon himself seems to rate the quad set-up over a thruster on them. Might just grab a set of Shapers.

I have a set of Shapers Stealth quads which I haven't used for 3-4 months and probably won't need for a few months. You can have them for a few months if you want to try before buying.

I have a set of simon snderson ones I think. You can have them if you want, not glass, just the plastic ones. Used to have them in a quad of his.

Let me know if you want them and I will try and dig em out.

I actually haven't tried them yet. They're in the board, but I ended up buying another board and have just been surfing it. The Face Dancer is actually my wife's board, but I ride it when the waves are meaty. I'll report back soon.

A surfing wife. Is that awesome?? Are your holidays always to surf rich destinations??

No worries, whenever.

Most holidays are surf destinations which is cool. Don't have to argue about where we're going. Either surf or snowboard, she does both.
