SOLD 6'6" Nigel Perrow Bonzer

Post by tootr » Sun Feb 09, 2014 4:28 pm

Five fin Bonzer shaped by Nigel Perrow up for sale.

6'6" by 20 3/8" by 2 5/8", diamond tail. Quite a beefy foil, with full rails and beak nose, fairly reminiscent of a Campbell 'Russ Short' model. I would suggest you would need to be at least 80kg to make this puppy work. Very fast, very drivey, no surprises. Will handle some size too.

Very good condition, no dings, just a few of the usual deck dents.

Asking $350. Board located in NB's. PM any questions/interest. Cheers.

very interested..
when u say "it'll handle some size".. what do you mean by "size"?
1) are we talking 6-8 foot (double to double and a half overhead) sydney conditions, groundswell beachies, reefs?
2) and what's the rocker profile like (i.e: can it handle steep bowls/carves etc)?

Sorry for the lousy pics. An iPad and poor light.

Here are two trying to give you an idea of the rocker/profile. I'm not sure how to describe it. It sure ain't contemporary, but it's not total 70's stuff either IMO.
