The conc starts near the front sticker, gets deep between the feet and fades to flat at the tail. The hard edge starts near the sticker on the rail which is about 6" forward of the side fins. Took this photo with the intention of selling the board. Been ridden (mostly loaned out) a fair bit since and worth less, particularly since the foam has shrunk around the back end. I'll just keep it and ride it now and again maybe

Everyone who's ridden it agree it's a shit paddling board. Could be a bad blank from the outset, although Maurice doesn't mind making them a bit heavier/stonger than most other board makers which might be a very small factor. The extra weight does equal strength from my experience with this board. Plenty of times it could have emerged in 2 pieces

The 1st and last shots show the edge on the under side of the rail best. Looking at the board this morning, I realised the edge begins about 6" forward of the rail sticker - not at the sticker which is what I said yesterday. Also, the conc starts ahead of the main sticker. Same mistake

Looks fast as f%$& swvic, my kinda board. You can just see the ease of the water pressure built up in the middle rail to shoot down and away from the board through that concave and flipped up tail. Looks like my kinda board if I was into typical thrusters right now

Yeah, CC, seriously fast due to serious lift. The last shot probably exagerates the tail flip. I remember more than once on a late takeoff the board just getting ahead of me and me going backward liked I'd slipped on a banana peel. You know the ones, clinging by the toe nails. If you got your weight over it, no problem, but because it paddled so poorly, I was sometimes in much later than ideal. Board has to be surfed pretty hard to get the best out of it. Reckon the forehand snaps on it are equal to my best

Now MC is doing it even more extremely, I wonder how I'd go. Be fun to find out

Thats always my reservation with curvey and rockered boards, they're always poor to paddle compared to their fish/simmons/MPH counterparts.

I like to ride a smaller board but I'm heavy (91kg now) so I tend to need the more alternative shapes to achieve that.

Yeh I'm 5'10" - 5'11" or so, so I find surfboards work the best when they look like me - shortish, wider and thicker, haha
