Fluffy's new board

Post by bumfluff » Sun Nov 14, 2010 8:01 pm

Got some pics from Pridmore the other day of the board he's shaping for me... It's a 6'6, 20, 2 9/16 based on the quadfather but has slightly more volume throughout and is now a square tail thruster. The rails are not too bulky so it should perform pretty good.

It's a PU blank but epoxy resin with innegra footpatches for extra strength where it's needed. I wanted this board to have a lot of volume but not be a really heavy board at the same time. I think it's gonna be great.

Very happy with it so far and can't wait to try this thing out..

Fluffy.. Does the fact that you got no responses on the 1st thread you started regarding your new board give you a hint that no one gives a fcuk?

Stick with the Dow Jones pal..

^^^^ Yeah really jealous that I don't have to ride a 6'6"..

Mark is obviously a good shaper but up your neck of the woods you'd need a 6'6" maybe 3 times a year..

Well sheesh Jimmy, when I got Mark to shape me a custom board, I should have got him to shape a board for you, for me. I dunno what I was thinking. :?:

How do you know I'm not 6'4 and 110kg?

Because by the strength of your posts you're about 5'4" and 57kgs..

Although the fact that you sit around on the web all day posting pictures and trading indicates that you may infact be a fat cnut.. And probably a booger as well. :D :D

So. We've established that I'm a fat, skinny b*stard who rides a boogie board, but is getting a 6'6 surfboard shaped. Well done Jimmy. :o

Ya. It seems Jimmy's been masturbating a little more than usual lately and is now destitute of proper vision..

Diggs, this one is a very similar shape to the boogie board (we'll dumb it down a bit for Jimmy  ) Mark shaped for you, but has been tweaked a bit to suit me.

I'll definately be aiming for Sat morning, pending the conditions and whether or not the Mrs will let Fluffy off the chain - so to speak. :P

Should be sweet.
