Yeah, that last S swell blunted a few sharp banks... but there's still some good ones around.
Re: winter 2018

V interesting setup ahead, hints of a baby black nor-easter.
Lots of E swell inbound.

Re: winter 2018
Very south swell. Bronte was holding if anyone could get out....but no one looked like trying. Lurline Bay was Fcuking ginormous in the sets with six guys out and sitting wide. Huge set came through and snorted everyone. One guy snapped his board and then had a very dodgy paddle into the rocks. Still trying to get in when we left. It's dodgy getting in there at the best of times. He spent about fifteen minutes going nowhere once he got anywhere near the rock shelf after a fairly long and slow paddle. Hope he is fit.

Beanpole nominated for COTY
Re: winter 2018
Saw one of those helicopter rescue shows a while back with surfers stuck outside in Lurline Bay.

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

Re: winter 2018
There was a helicopter there plus quite a few onlookers.....and of course his six mates. Someone jumped in to paddle out near him. They didn't seem too concerned. Watched it for a while though and contemplated calling the ambos. I guess it's no heavier than Ours like that though. He wasn't waving at the chopper or asking for assistance as far as I could see. About the biggest I've seen Lurline break.
I remember a few years ago a bunch had to tie there boards together and try to make it to Coogee. About five klms away.

If I had to guess, I’d say Sydney is on track for its driest winter ever.

I've had heaps of waves, Steve. Plenty in the head high to overhead range. Plus seen some of the biggest south swell I can remember for quite while.
