yeah, it's been a fantastic start. i surfed myself to standstill. I'm sunburnt and my shoulder is cooked.

fun clean surf this morning, short range but broken up so heaps of peaks and bowls. more powerful and bigger than expected.

Yeah it was funny that way. That mix of short range swells was more interesting than it looked

i dunno. looking at the 4-day synoptic, looks like that high squeezes the low's fetch too directly south for us...

shearer's headland will be cooking but so will the sweep.

I heard it was no good but the sand movement has been advantageous, outrageously so, for elsewhere. it was nice to do a sweep of the old haunts, with my son and touch terra firma again. Looks like a little bit of tradewind gurgle ahead.

Yeah I was up before light each morning last week - car loaded up ready for the drive down - each morning the swell was underwhelming and dodged it
The swell event was a non event -
But I heard CB was very good - a medico friend just got back from Tavarua last week
