Agreed.

Much easier getting in & out of a back zip wetty.

Braithy - Only keep your wetsuit hung up until it is dry, then put it away until you are going to use it again :-)

My Gooru 3/2 steamer just had it's first repair after about 4 seasons (lower leg seam had come apart).

Ready to go again for another couple of years 8) 8) 8)

Braithy, Quiksilver ebay store # some bargain steamers on sale, example . 3x2 steamer bz gbs $ 89- didn't go thru the whole site of 4 pages but worth a look.
Any truth in the sideways wetsuits are made in China and of inferior rubber compared to the Thai built ones ?

ah, i loathe to buy another quik suit.

dearest suit i ever had was a 6-hunge quik suit. it started to leak a month later, by the following season it was like wearing a flyscreen. it was all black with the red square logo on the chest, that model.

I've still got an old O'Neill springy that looks like it will last for ever......but it's pretty clunky compared to my new Billabong one. QSilver steamer is still going strong after two seasons now.
Got a couple of Bong steamers online a few years ago. One for junior and the price was so good I got one too. My one was made in China. It basically fell apart at the stitching. Came from Canada.

Sounds like your mate has a fatter neck than you and has stretched it!!!

I forgot to tell you that when I came in from that session one of your tradie mates in the carpark said I'd ripped all over you but not to mention it because you were a bit fragile about it.
