it sucks. you got 13 kt S winds, while we have NNE at 13 kts ... according to the bom forecast, the S change isn't going to make it this far north either?

Pretty ordinary.

Surfed gurgly overhead pointsurf with power and shape on a slow building swell.

it was mediocre quality, uncrowded and fun.

Offshore up here at 4am (non DST  ). Big, heavy, peaks and long walls.
Mooloolaba buoy is down a again but I suspect a brief pulse overnight. Started dropping off by 7am.

Spring hasn't been too bad. What I am worried about is the apparent trend like last summer for us to enter a deep Nino type state. Dry, northerly pattern , no tradewinds.

That might last until March, like last year.

Agreed about Spring not being too bad....but the outlook is dire in the short term let alone your concerns for the medium-long term Steve!!!

And I can tell you, my plants and grass are screaming El Nino at me!!!!

There are the start of dark days.

All I can suggest is move near the nearest wavepool, build a bunker in the backyard and start hoarding ammunition, tinned food and iodine.

The only bright spot is the warm water anomaly off the NE/MidNSW coast.

russian brides would serve more of a purpose than bitcoins or silver.

Doesn't really matter.
Whatever you've got, when the shit really hits the fan, someone bigger than you is gonna come along and take it off you. Violently.
