yeah, no shit. And as usual predictive models are six months behind the reality of the event, which started last august.

probably pure fantasy but access G has a weather bomb scenario as ex Tc Ita drifts down the coast into coast exiting upper trough.

if it comes off, I see ten foot surf for the Easter hols.

I'll take that as a possible 5ft up the coast then.

GFS persisting with the recurve and eventual coast hug for EX TC Ita.

no-one else getting a horn over this?

Ita's tongue never touches her lips
She could always be my godmother
And though the desktop hides her hips
My imagination's strong
She's the sweetest thing I've ever seen
I'd like to take her out to dinner
But when I think about the places I've been
I'd probably hold my fork all wrong

I believe, I believe, in what she says
Yes I do

Nah ... I reckon it'll cross the coast north of cairns and dissipate before the upper level trough can get a hold of her and drag her down the coast.

well it's definitely going to cross but even BOM have jumped on the recurve bandwagon now.

Looks like a fairly compact fetch, moving quite quickly along the coast before veering towards NZ. I'm not getting too excited at this point.
