Re: Autumn fourteen
Fark Steve, did it work out the way you said, or have you been wrong on pretty much every prognostication on this forum so far.
Just keep calling it as not happening, or blown out or whatever, it's working for us cube monkeys.

Re: Autumn fourteen
hey Olds I appreciate the restraint shown so far by not calling "best ever autumn" so early in the piece but you do realise that sometimes there can be differences, ever so slight to be fair, between SEQLD/NENSW and Sydney........right?
there's still blokes walking down the main street of Lennox flogging themselves with branches in some kind of penitence about having an eight foot E swell getting blown to smithereens by howling northerlies in FUCKING MARCH.
it's a sensitive subject mate.

Why the prevailing Easterly aspect to the winds this year on the Sunny hoax?
It swings inbetween ENE and ESE lately.
Toaday is different...it's due E.

And what are the chances of the subsequent backup E'ly groundswell also being destroyed by N'ly winds in fecking March!!!!steve shearer wrote:hey Olds I appreciate the restraint shown so far by not calling "best ever autumn" so early in the piece but you do realise that sometimes there can be differences, ever so slight to be fair, between SEQLD/NENSW and Sydney........right?

I canceled my camping trip due to northerlies. In the last week of march.

Instead of camping north, I went south. Got some good ones this morning. I've had so much sun but ... I feel like my eyes are sunburnt.
Re: Autumn fourteen
Well yeah, cept I didn't expect the sets to come at all so I wasn't disappointed.

yeah, no shit. And as usual predictive models are six months behind the reality of the event, which started last august.

Greatscientists says that points to a major El Nino event forming to rival the record event nearly 20 years ago.

probably pure fantasy but access G has a weather bomb scenario as ex Tc Ita drifts down the coast into coast exiting upper trough.
