Yup, and about as far away as one can get from the surf at this time of year!!!
Noosa?

Hols were good, Braithy.
Spent 2 weeks away from computers and phones, reconnected with the ocean.

There are a lot of hi-vis bellends in dualcabs and big boats on day release from the mines this time of year, never seen so much arse-fcukery at the boatramp.
If you can't back a shiny new $90k boat down a busy ramp in one shot you should forfeit it to the nearest bloke who can, Lord of the Flies style

Still sort of on holidays till Feb with a few little camping trips planned, looks like Straddie burnt down while I was away so that's thrown a spanner.
Nice. Where'd you go, north?

Holidays until feb ... I had to go to uni to get that much time off. You should get some good waves between now and then.

If it's under 3 foot there's some good banks near me. I can pm them to you.

Don't you dare ... irregardless of liking ... disliking ... and the levels there of ... I will kill you ... kill you dead.

Then I'll chop you into idly biddy tiny little bits and feed you to the fcukin lorikeets at Currumbin Sanctuary.

The lorikeets having never tasted meat before will become rabidly ravenous ... large flocks will descend on mass into groups of Japanese tourists ... pecking at their eyes and cameras.

Meanwhile ...

Satan will welcome you with open arms ... and a twinkle in his eye. He will enquire if you're still keen for bum sex with Pippa Middleton. When you reply with the affirmative ... a small giggle ever so slight slips from his lips as Pippa walks in naked except for the frighteningly large strap-on dildo that she is in the final throws of fastening to her nether regions. Enjoy ... he says ... theres lube on the nightstand.

You do know that you're going to hell ... don't you ?

If you're not careful, I'll ring the three surf schools at the alley and inform them of gentle rollers to the shore at the end of your street.

Think about that.

Braithy, if you pm me your banks, I ll return the favour :-o

Don't trust this one Braithy ... he'll get the good oil from you and give you D'bah and Snapper.

North, braithy. Fishing paddling and sailing.

Whilst I appreciate the offer I wouldn't want to upset the local custodians.
And those aren't the best banks kicking around the GC.

Sort of on hols as in got the kids during the day and working at night when necessary.

Saturday morning before Xmas, the 23rd & 24th of december ... Surfed a left and right peak all the way to the sand. Wasn't big, maybe 3-foot on the biggest day, but enough to get completely surfed out on a brand new board.

I drove past a certain popular beach on my way (not named coolangatta either) and there were 150 people in each other's armpit lapping up straight handers into a deep channel.

Unlike the cauldron of death that I like to call the Byron & Lennox shire, empty waves can be found up here Steve ...

Now come come Braithy ... stop kidding around ... we all know that apart from the points and D'bah there are no discernibly rideable waves on the coast. Straight handers prevail ... and sharks ... lots and lots of sharks. Irukandji too ... did we mention the jelly fish.

Anything for you jam.

I was surfing a place called booya warrenidgie selamat datang. Which in the local tongue translates to:

welcome to the beach of many eyes.

I would just like to say that this has been a shit summer of surf for the Mornington Peninsula so far this summer.

Epic Winter.

Shit summer.

Apart from the Pippa Middleton thing, he fits in great in SE Qld....I thought the Tassie excursion was more concerning :-D-:

C'mon, Groots, it's to be expected. Summers in the south are meant to be shit

However, over here it's been ok. The SE winds haven't taken a stronghold and it looks like we'll have good surf in coming days. Having said that, it's SE right now and I may have seriously fcuked things until April

Read your post about near drowning at Gunna. Sure can be a heavy place
