18.4m wave recorded off tassie today. they say its a record. only 3 times in 12yrs has it gone above 17m.

Some paddle-ins trying to catch some of the offerings at Wedding Cake Island now.

Not the break off the headland, the way out and south of the island wave.

Hard work without a tow.

Ummmm, I'm pretty damn sure I do post my thoughts on here quite regularly. I do a weekend forecast for SE Qld on Surfphotos out of kindness for the owner of the site.

They showed a couple of waves on the ch 7 news tonight, including that one.

They said it was Laurie Towner. He got fcuking obliterated!!
