Anyone done it? Best time of year for winds and swell etc?
Any recommendations?

I haven't been so can't speak from personal experience but I know someone who has and said it was great, expensive though. Not sure what time of year either, but theres plenty of swell exposure.
Balls pyramid looks pretty amazing.

Yeh been there a few times years ago. Fishing is great. Diving is great. Surf can be good. Not too crowded as only so many people are allowed on the island at any one time. I think any time of year is pretty good.

If you go surfing the lagoon side be aware of the reef passes at run out tide the entire lagoon drains past the breaks. Impossible to paddle against.
Nice surf. Board transport for anything long difficult!
