The Victorian Aboriginal Education Association is hosting the triennial World Indigenous Peoples Conference: Education 2008 in December and it sounds interesting.

Anyone more in the know than the website details and can provide some thoughts and opinions on what it's all about and what they hope will be acheived by the conference? Does holding it in Aus give Australian issues centre stage? What's the go generally?

Puurri? Anybody?
