Just watched this. Pretty enjoyable. Have been trying to explain to my wife how they finance all this tripping all over the world. I pointed out the preponderence of brand names on the jet skis and wet suits etc. So she sort of understood. Anyway, the thing I took out of this is, what an art form it...

Day 269 - still
9 PM and the wind has gone offshore already.
Hope there's still a bit of swell around in 7 hours.

I can't remember the last time there wasn't decent, consistent surf between Christmas and New Year.
And with good days so few and far between lately, I won't even complain about the crowds.

Here's an interesting one.
It is the East Coast of Australia.
That means NSW or the southernmost 200 klm of Qld.

I don't think that's sandstone - generic or not. Well if it's on the east coast of oz, I think that means it's sandstone. Most of it is I'm sure there is a geologist out there to tell me how wrong I am. Maybe, but I've never seen black sandstone. Most of the headlands I'm familiar with north of Cof...

I surfed some great beach breaks there about 20 years ago. Just walk north until you find a decent bank. Or drive down to Forster Tuncurry.
