Jetstar are flying to Bali for about $500 return now..
I was thinking about going either there or Hawaii with some mates before Uni starts...
Any adivce on which to go??

Thats a shockin call on the 'secret spot'... One of the more crowded on the coast. I also have to agree with whoever said it, there are no secret spots on the cenny coast anymore... At least south of soldiers. There are remote spots, but a fair crowd know of them. Also, How was "a" This morn... Only...

I ususally go surfing by my self.... Mainly because it sh!ts off my mates that I like to check heaps of spots before I go out.. I do tend to spook myself out when I am the only person out in the water though.. Not on beachies, But out on a reef all alone, No one else in sight... Nice, but freaks me ...

Not a big fan of the weetbix, Rarely eat them... But when I do have some I can usually do 6-7. Once when I was surfing Out in the Boudii National Park, All alone in a spooky line up (my mates were still suiting up), A Half eaten Dugong or something similar floated past... I flunked Geography, so I don't know if this is relevent, but looking at the BOM, Tropical Cyclone Hubert (Catogry 3 i think) has a low of 974 hPa Whereas the low that is generating this swell is pulling 966hPa Would that make this the equivilant of a tropical cyclone? How about, if when you are surfing a spot, an older bloke has a go at you for snaking him, when you actulally sit about 10-15 metres further out, on the actuall take off spot instead of missing the best section of the wave...
