Don't know. Mouse? Rooney? Rourke?
That question is an odd tangent to this thread, but that's cool.

Should've taken bets on Wilko before the season started.

He deserves bonus points for this too!

Re: Mick Fanning in semi-retirement?

Maybe if he wins Snapper and Bells, he'll say "screw that idea" and keep going.
Hope some of the other boys step up to the plate. Don't want a lengthy drought of titles.

Re: Cheap tide watch?

Cheers CTD. I saw some pretty good deals on ex-display rip curl watches on ebay, but I've also noticed quite a few bad reviews online for their various models. I was actually looking at getting one myself as well. I have one of the now extinct RC Mavericks tide watches which I've had for 6 years and...

Cheap tide watch?

Any decent tide watches out there that don't cost a fortune? Looking for one for a present for a 12 year old. Doesn't have to be the fanciest thing or have actual beaches & times (ala' Rip Curl watches), but even if its one of those basic ones with the tide graphic indicating high and low, he'll be ...

Re: Pipe Masters

Could this be the trigger for both Mick and Kelly to retire? Are they both saying "is this how its going to be next year?". No one can control the quality of the waves (and boy has this year been sh1t), but for Mick to go out like that, having been the better Pipe surfer in that heat against Medina,...

Re: Raised stringer

Eventually stringer will break through the glass. If it's bad enough you can feel it with your foot through the wax, probably time to start considering the next one. It pretty much has broken through, or at least it looks like it. Only in a small section. Have been applying extra wax around it to k...

Re: Raised stringer

Sounds logical Jimmy.
On average would use it 2-3 times per week, and was pretty much the only board I used since getting it.

Raised stringer

Hi all, Anyone have any magic remedies for dealing with a stringer that's sticking out a fair bit in the middle of the board (which in actual fact is because the deck around it has sunk down to make it so)? It's not causing any dramas really, but interested in anyone's take on it. Any examples out t...

I hope you're right.
Still confident on that call?
Toledo and De Souza don't exactly have the toughest round 3 opponents, however Mick has a battle on his hands.

John John Florence surf movie viewing times/locations?

Anyone know of a confirmed schedule of when and where they plan to screen the new JJF film?

Cheers

That recap is pure gold. So well written, i can picture being out there where you were. Didn't have a question in mind but had to honour it with a reply.
So....(thinking of question)....what did you have for lunch?

Re: Trestles Hurley Pro 2015

Is there a reliable Trestles forecast for the next few days?
Are they going to get any waves or will it be Snapper - The Sequel?

Re: Trestles Hurley Pro 2015

Is it just a coincidence that Kelly's sponsors do not include those that contribute dollars to the WSL, compared to those of Micks?

Nothing to add to this discussion really.
Just figured I'd throw a claim in for a thread I started that's still going.

Fair enough.
The scores certainly read from one extreme to the other from heat to heat.
Pity the conditions weren't like last year.
