The Cage also got me. I flicked on to Channel 9 and couldn't figure out for a good ten minutes why they weren't talking about the return of the Olympics. Even had Nikki Webster ready to fly around the stadium again.

Personally I am dissappointed if I log on and Larry hasn't posted a report. I also get a kick out of the ramblings in the news items. Good for a read when time is on yer hands.

I gotta laugh at how on one forum we're discussing ear probs and here we're dealing with our eyes. Maybe we need a medical advice section on realsurf. Any Doctors out there who want to take on the challenge for the poor suffering masses who are too busy surfing to go to the Doc's.

These guys should watch how much money they make. A lot of record companies actually expect money back after the album has made it to cover costs of promotional tours and recording studios. Noiseworks were one of our more well know acts and finished up oweing Warners money when they finished up. As ...

Keep away from the chemicals which are probably made in a garage in Lidcombe by god knows who but I bet they are not chemists. I can also advise to keep off the ciggies. At the ripe old age of 39 I had to have 5 teeth include 2 at the front removed due to gum disease thanks to 20 years of winnie blu...

It's hard not being a cog. I have had long hair since 1972 (sad) and although I have managed to look like an unemployed muso (I'm not) I have managed to have a steady job and a house in the burbs. No matter hard non conformed you are you still end up on the sidelines of your kids soccer games or pic...

I feel have have to stick up for Longy. Protected from the nor easters and there is not too many beaches in Sydney where can you look to the north and feel like you are not living in a city of 4 million people. No concrete, just a great headland. You can always wander down to the pole and find a bit...

What is the old saying: "If you can't swim in, Don't go out." I still reckon you need a leash at any Beach in Sydney just for the safety concerns. Too many loonies ignoring the flags and swimming where they shouldn't and they will be the ones who will sue.

I picked up a 9'2" Town & Country out of the Manly Daily from a guy at DY after finding that the San Juan 8'1" was about 10 metres too far in to compete for waves at Longy and I would have to say that it is one of the best boards I have ever owned. I keep looking out for a new one but as I am having...

Sadly I have to lament the loss of The Pass to crowds. Showing my age but when we used to go to Byron outside of the school holidays, when the Top Pub was rough, bands played the piggery and you never managed to leave the Railway Friendly bar sober, we'd surf the pass on numerous ocassions with some...
