U know it's funny Fong. I took the kids fishing in a little tidal causeway the other day (secret spot right in the middle of the burbs where if you go the right tide you can catch surprising fish). big variations in temp this time of year.....especially if a piece of cold upwelling water (17-18c) was suddenly replaced by a warm eddy from the EAC (22-23c).

Unusual but definitely plausible.
