Plenty of foam in the mid section for good paddle power, fuller than average template, but still quit...

Re: that wetsuit discussion...

Surfstitch (which usually seems to be full freight RRP) recently had a 30% off sale, so wetties were to be had for almost OS prices.....

Perhaps get on the mailing list and wait for the next sale????

Re: Bong in big trouble

Bong owned Surfstitch are having a 30% off sale - with the $AU getting a canning right now you can get a wettie at close to OS prices. Thanks, for the heads up. Decent prices, but just shows the stupid mark up aussies are expected to pay... But, of course they have no large back zip flash bomb in s...

Re: Bong in big trouble

Yes, I am drawing a long bow on that, and mentioning the BandB buccaneers in the same breath is out there, but making the point the debt fuelled-growth-by-acquisition model is high risk to say the least.... Some earlier posts in this thread seem to be blaming everything except the business model.. A...

Re: Bong in big trouble

It's not only brand management. Various incarnations of BBG management followed the time honoured road to ruin by pursuing a 'growth at all costs' strategy in an attempt to keep the post float momentum going, viz debt fuelled acquisitions-overpaying for both property and brand names, store rollouts ...

Re: Bong in big trouble

MBO or private equity is what is needed... Will take a couple of years to clean up the balance sheet, rationalise the mess of stores, overpaid acquistions, and restore cashflow....

BBG is far from dead, but there is some serious restructuring to do...

Some fair points re shapers remuneration....

I'll haggle like the proverbial on an off the racks board, which is not often, but I'm happy to pay up for a custom direct from a rolls royce guy

Re: that wetsuit discussion...

Question for the flash bomb people, is that lined area that really thick stuff.? Reason I ask is my soon to be retired winter suit is the older 3/2 F bomb which is plenty warm but has that huge thick fireskin pad from the chest down to the knees, and I'd prefer a little more flex than the F. So I'm ...
