This was posted a couple of months ago. An 80 second ride on the Superbank. The wave steadily improving as it goes along. The ride could have been a fair bit longer. It’s good viewing though. A beautiful day on the Goldy.

Seeing a big wave board like the above, the size and shape, tends to convey to me the scary challenge of big wave surfing more than watching big wave surfing.

Steve, in your Swellnet piece, you didn’t mention the ‘freight train’ wave you got on Drift 3 was “one of the top 5 I have ever ridden”. Why?
