Surf mainly north county Santa Cruz, or Pacifica when I'm with one of the kid.

Paddling around the lineup it's pretty good. Low entry rocker, fairly meaty, beak nose.

Paddling into waves it's a bit early to make a call as it was an odd swell and tide combo. Feels like it needs to get in earlier, and isn't as good for late takeoffs as a true HPSB due to the higher volume nose.

Short surfs were my forte when I had young kids. I could get from my place to out the back at Maroubra in under 20 minutes (without Steve maths), get 5 waves and be home in under an hour.

Got the shorty out today for the first time, only four waves caught, and only one decent turn, but enough to feel it out.
