Re: Magnesium ... good for ya health?
just did..I don't have a credit card and they don't take paypal. I have a VISA debit. Works everywhere and the money comes from my bank account. The bank encourages you to use 'Credit' for transactions, but I always press savings. That way I don't think VISA gets a commish, which is probably the on...

Was only shitting you Hatchy, hence the rolling eyes. Good it's not happening - for now at least. Business wants it so it's just a time thing, sadly

Nice little super-tanker peelers at the likes of Pines, Merricks, Balnarring and Crunchy Point on days with no swell in the bay, Hatchy

Re: Cleaning an epoxy surfboard
I know what wax to use to make it stick but prefer a softer wax that might not be sticking due to the board being dirty Use a harder base coat Those $2 window washer squeegies will get most of the old wax off after you've poured boiling water all over it If JD told me boiling water on my surfboard ...

Re: Mats
Cheers, Cap'n. I somehow expected the reply you provided. I'm getting results via the doctor on Monday, so we'll find the extent of what's going on. Like I said, I expect surgery will be required. Hopefully not. Regardless, I'll be spending some time with a physio and I'll follow the advice given As...

Re: Mats
Bought a mat for my wife recently to take on a trip. Just a cheapy (Redback) with placcy handles. I've done my knee and can't surf so will probably take the mat for a spin Just wanted to ask a question of you, please, CC. Pretty sure it's medial ligament and possible lateral meniscus damage. Had an ...

Might be surprised by the reaction if you don't fake anything though. We're much better than we used to be. Stigma is disappearing

Re: Modern Planing Hulls
Yeah, JaM, the Maldives were great. Fun size only though. Biggest was 4 ft. Surfed at Chickens and Cokes mostly due to the small swell. Had a couple of surfs at Sultans and Jailbreaks. Got a backhand barrel at Cokes. A bit difficult to fit into backhand, because at that size it's not top to bottom -...

Re: Teahupoo 2012
Nick, whilst I find it enthralling to know most of the pros were on 5'11"s to 6'2"s with the exception of one enormous competitor, I am more interested in what you were riding. Anything from the short board quiver you posted pics of a few months back? The carbon tailed quad? Something longer maybe?

Re: Modern Planing Hulls
Like Batoes, I'm really loving my Tomo V4. Bought it almost on a whim and have ridden my 6'2" conventional very little since owning it. Initial paddle shock, but not too different. Handles pretty solid waves for it's meagre 5'9" (pointy nose). Very fast, loose and still has grip. Tested the last poi...

Home last night Sincere thanks to Donweather and ric - both of whom should be listened to As for ric's advice, it was spot on so listen if you're travelling there. Cheers, mate, much appreciated For Dw - swellcast was almost spot on. Would've loved some juicier takings, but it was what it was and yo...
