Re: Why do people dry surfboards?

This is like the whole scrunch v fold debate.... I dry my board. never really thought about it, but if pressed for a reason I suppose I always thought it might be less inclined to go steenky in it's board bag. My boards don't stink  therefore it must work! Maybe less moisture in bag reduces c...

Re: Board bag zip repair ???

I've got an O&E travel cover, probably not the top of the range as far as they go... but the metal zips are worse for wear after about 3 years. One has broken when pulling the tab while the other is on borrowed time. Salt + metal zips  all bad. Heavy duty plastic would be much better...

Re: Where did you surf today ?

Surfed Wanda today... crowded, with mal comp to boot on the same bank, but shifty enough to ensure a wave or three. Pity it was blowing onshore... at 7am

Surfed elouera yesterday, much nicer. Less bodies in the water, offshore but tide a wee bit too high- and the shark alarm, of course...

Re: Coastal Watch Warning

I know that in the past I've had problems with the cam links on the left side of the pages... click on what is supposed to be a link to a cam and get sent to an advertisers site... repeatedly :?

It is a little too busy for it's own good, methinks.

Re: Sharks

The shark alarm went off at Elouera today... but not at Wanda & Nth Cronulla. I might be cynical, but the clubbies has just put the flags up on a rather crowded bank.... clearing the water, perhaps? Still, the lifesaver chopper and channel 9 chopper turned up and circled round for a bit, while the c...

Re: Hypocrites @ coastalwatch

My question now is who has the bad manners: Dazza for burning a bodyboarder? The bodyboarder for burning Dazza? Coastalwatch for claiming the girl to be bad mannered and inciting a culture of hatred? or Coastalwatch because they still haven't shown any photos of bodyboarders busting huge? http://an...

Paddled out just after sunrise to the knee high farce that was the alley at cronulla. Plenty of folks looking at it, I was the first fool in the water... it was very ordinary.

Re: My new Baby...alternative?????

Yep, I only see 2/3 of a pic as well... I'm guessing that the only way to see the whole pic is to get rid of the ads on the right of screen.... like that's going to happen! You can right click and select open image to see the whole thing. So correct me if I'm wrong but this board is $1500 bucks for ...

http://forum.realsurf.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=12220 not really stupid, but annoying as hell  the ceiling fan would be pretty high on the stupid factor, never done it but cracked my board going out the front door plenty of times trying to juggle wetties, towels board all at once... maybe...

Re: Remote Controlled Helicopter Surf Camera

I got one of the cheap RC helis for christmas... learning to fly is "interesting". To get one of the really expensive ones, coupled with a ridiculously expensive bit of camera gear is like ticking a pitbulls lollybag in my opinion... Maybe if I get some duct tape though.... not sure if the toy will ...
