Channel Islands Biscuit or Fishcuit

Just wondering if anyone out there has tried out a Channel Islands Biscuit or Fishcuit. Looking at the 5'10 fishcuit for something different. I'm 5'10 and 80kg. I'd really like some opinions on how they go... I can't get a demo anywhere. Kinda sucks when you're about to spend $820 on a stock board....

Re: Best wetsuit you have had

I bought second hand O'neill Mutants, 3x2 and 4x3 haven't worn the 4x3 yet, but the 3x2... unreal... been wearing it since march down here in vicco... lets no water in EVER. It's a massive step up from the mid-range quiksilver i now have for a spare... Feels like i'm not even wearing a wetty by comp...

Re: Meyerhoffer?

I just checked out the OKE website and there's a pic of the guys board being shaped, and a pic of the final product... have a go at these!

Re: Meyerhoffer?

I surfed out at Phillip Island on Saturday at Shelly Beach. As i was getting out an older guy paddled out a board that looked similar to a Meyehoffer. Shaped by OKE (VIC shaper i think), it was a peanut shaped thing, about 9ft, and with a massive flyer in it. It had a pretty sweet paint job too. I m...

Re: Vicco this weekend

My girlfriend's flying down this weekend to spend the weekend with me in Melbourne... I'm picking a board up from Trigger Brothers at Pt Leo on friday arvo... if it's cranking, i'm going to have a problem ... Surf or pick the girlie up from the airport at 5:30pm? Decisions decisions. Every time she ...

Re: Miller Powerglide

I got Grant to fill the nose concave in with black as it's one of the major design features in the board and i thought i'd like to highlight it. If you're not sure what i'm talking about, have a look at his website: waterskatesurfboards.com I know how silly it sounds referring one shaper to another'...

Re: Miller Powerglide

The tails fixable, but there's no way i'm going quietly with regards to the damage done to the nose. I must admit though, the photos i posted aren't the best. The nose is such an integral part of this board and there's no way i'm going to put up with a "fixed" board seeing it's only 2 surfs old. Esp...

Re: Miller Powerglide Pics!!!

Took my powerglide home to sydney for the Victorian long weekend... Got to Gunnamatta this arvo just as the onshore started to creep in... Great i thought... how could this day get any worse... Put my wetty on and took my board out of the case to find the tail smashed to bits, and right side of the ...

Re: Miller Powerglide

I'll get the pics sorted out in the next couple of days. Went home for the weekend and left my camera at home. The Powerglide went really well on the days i surfed in Westernport bay. They were pretty gutless and not very steep, so digging the nose wasn't an issue. I was surprised how well in duckdi...

Re: Miller Powerglide

Scored overhead waves in Westernport yesterday, in between honeysuckle and Pt Leo surfclub.

I surfed for 3 hours! Can't believe how crowded it got.

Miller Powerglide

Got my new Miller Powerglide (7'0 x 22 1/8 x 2 7/8) the other day and got a few waves at Point Leo. I can't help but want to tell the whole whole everytime i get a new board, whether it's new, or just new to me. This one's both. I've got a few months down here on the Mornington Peninsula and hoping ...

Get a powerglide.

I too recommend the Miller Powerglide. They come standard at 7'0, but i've heard of him doing up to 8'0. Give him a call, he'll point you in the right direction, great man to deal with from start to finish. I picked one up from Grant Miller the other week. It sat in my room for 10days while it cured...

Pic up my board on Thursday. Looking forward to it.

Re: Where are all the board pics gone?

I remember that one as clear as day. It was your board that started me on my black board tangent. I was going to go completely black with a white railband but was talked out of it.

Anyways,

cheers, and keep 'em coming.

Where are all the board pics gone?

Can't seem to find any pics of all the Miller boards out there. More specifically powerglides. I've got one on order with black rail band and solid back nose concave. Should be ready around the end of February. When i was getting my Waterskate shaped last year i remember a few threads with pics of M...

Re: Help me Out

I'll warn you early... i'm a bit passionate about surfing and love passing on my experience all be it quite short.... Mate, i was in your exact position about 2 years ago. 5'10 and 80kg been riding a lid since 13 and saw the light at 25. I started on a 9'6 mal with way too much rocker and got frustr...
