Re: Surf Etiquette in the Line-up
I couldn't agree more jimmy but my immediate circle of friends weren't too bad, a few bohemian types of various diverse cultural backgrounds. However I did overhear a few interesting conversations at the local surf club. Beyond that the place was great and I just basically decided to enjoy the good...

Re: Surf Etiquette in the Line-up
Hey Jimmy, I used to live in Tugun 12 years ago as well (1998). Maybe we knew each other? The surf out the front of our place was amazingly consistent and hardly crowded at all. Made me realise how many waves you can get up there without surfing a point break at all Quite possibly LB.. I loved it u...

Re: A Moving Letter from Gerry Lopez
Longboarding comps are for gumbies and are really there to allow people to get on megaphones, hooters and score cards and organise the hapless participants into humiliating rituals like manning the sausage sizzle while the elite drink beer and advise them on how to butter the rolls. That is terribl...

Its all been said before ... respect ... bla bla blowins ... kooks ... heros ... and just like noodles ... the five minute instant local. A couple of the points in far northern NSW are a classic example of this ... over zealous yokels ... instant locals and terrorist with no idea ... sorry tourist....

Re: Quake and Tsunami hit northern Japan
Baddy, Fong's jokes may be in poor taste but they aren't unusual. We as Aussies have seen humour in diasters and human suffering for as long as we've been around. And TBH these are very mild compared to the nastiness Dino was posting during the SE Qld floods. And there's my point Trev.. Nothing was...

Bodi and happy, take your fight to the Tangents thread. I'll delete the non-relevant stuff from this topic. Trev, sorry mate but I disagree with the whole delete thing on this occasion. I totally understand your position as a mod as I am one on another surfing forum.. But sweet Jesus I didn't see a...

Since Fox moved offshore ,theyd be the last of the "made in Oz" wetsuits ..I think....worth buyin for that reason alone , far as I'm concerned.... There's Zee wetsuits at Noosa. Yeah Coops but I'm pretty sure that wake boarding and surfing don't require the same suits? You'll get a nice shiny pair ...

Re: Need help - attach a badge to a board
Hatchy.. I would suggest using the same method as when you fix a ding..
Tape off the surrounding area and sand where you want the badge to go with 100 grit in order to create a receptive surface.
It would probably help if you roughed up the back off the badge as well..

So you ride a mal and pull your socks up whilst drinking Bud? It's making more sense to me now... The only one I will comment on is the bud; when I got up that morning to leave the campground at Mesa Verde National Park before travelling to Lake Powell (as pictured) I found that the campers from th...
