A little of track, but we're talking about sharks and bodies. A year or so back, the owner of Mosman Autos was thrown off the gap. They recovered his body down near Botany Bay. The water police who recovered it had to play tug-o-war with a 12ft tiger shark. The shark had already had a pretty good go...

Im starting to think that i might want to move out of Sydney.I think SAsurfer and Ringmaster have got the right idea. I'd love to do that if I didn't have school and my career ahead of me  I left Torquay for Manly. Do'h! Was it the lure of the consistent groundswell or the sense of so...

Too funny Marcus. Unfortunately it's the sheep mentality. One does something, and others will follow. You can count me out, so that's one less. But I have a feeling that it might just take off. And I wouldn't laugh off the commercially made torch-helmet idea. Surf companies will do anything if they ...

I've been wearing boardies and a long sleeve neoprene top but I find after an hour that I get cold, especially if there is a long wait between sets. But I find a 3/2 sealed steamer too hot right now. And I find them a pain to get in and out of. Trying to ignore the cold to get used to it doesn't he...

having the build of a starving somalian, I find steamers a fantastic way to keep out that cold and surf for more than an hour. I wish I did have the body fat so that I could avoid it, its much nicer and free surfing in boardies, but the only time its ever been warm enough for me to wear boardies wa...
