i agree with the general consensus that while quads are a whole new area to expand your surfing fun, they do do some funny things sometimes and especially need a slightly different tack on the bottom turn... not something u want to experiment with on a trip you forked out $$$ for and quality waves t...

Ok it looks like theres a bidding fight about to brew so Mr Bear please post ALL dimensions, i.e. the width and thickness (of the surfboard not your plonker) i'm a buyer in the light heavyweight division for $500 (and will pickup) if it's 2 3/8 thick then a middle weight might give it a shot at 6.2 ...

IMO some on the thread are missing the key point here.. whatever u think of the township, the quality of the burgers served at the pub, and a bunch of 'old miners cottages', there are key issues here, like; developers getting direct intervention by the responsible minister to cram as many dwellings ...

I've driven through twice recently after not going through it for probably 20 years and the only change that I was annoyed at was they've stopped road access to the back beach. Personally, the place has always given me the kreeps and I reckon the beach is bloody ordinary except for the novelty valu...
