Chest to head high south Maroubra. Wind was on it but surfed better than it looked. Still plenty of opportunities for good runs and decent turns

Kirra. Took my daughter out for her first go out on a QLD point break. Helped her catch a bunch of the smaller inside runners, then when she’d had her fill I hit the point up. Chest to shoulder high with some head high take offs on the sets. Surfed the 7’0 single fin pintail. Fun as!

It’s pretty flat. Would be fun in say bells at head high plus

Micro surf at wurtulla, caught up with a mate up there whos got a decent stash of old boards. Dbah. 2-3 foot. Not so crowded, plenty to go around

2-3 wind affected sandon point. Shitty swell angle but still rides thru to the boat sheds to be had. Surfed the 7’0 single, make life easy

Headlands. Small but fun

The afternoon off and surfed voodoo on the low tide. Strong wind from the north east
. Long period 3-4 foot plus swell on the very inconsistent sets. Still a few grinders coming through. Not many people out. Jeremy was out there tearing it up on his foil board / sail set up.

I’ve never had it good out there. it’s always been the sort of wave that send you to sleep, even when overhead.

All the more reason to hit it on a middie or longboard.

Probably three decades or more since I’ve surfed Alexandra headland SEQ.

Always found it sucked on a rockered out shortboard.

This seems like a green light to give it another go, but on a midlength.
