Re: Ebay Bargains thread

How so. What are you comparing it to. I live in a city of almost 7 million people. PI is coastal regional heaven. Good houses, cheap. Consistent groundswells. Tonnes of spots. Even works in southerlies. What are you on about.

Re: First attempt

Back on the channel quest hatchie Brave move for a first board Nah. Ditched the channel idea. Sticking with deep concaves What weight foam? Pink with composite construction is excellent. Red will be bombproof if glassed properly Red or whatever's the most bombproof. The extra weight won't bother me...

Re: Ebay Bargains thread

Had a few at Bondi. Fun on the right one. So 16 second swell don't close out on beachies? It was a 13 second period.,out of the east north east. Bondi faces south so misses the full brunt of that swell direction. Exposed beach breaks in long period swells tend to be wide and straight freight traini...

 it's a total shutdown. There's uncontested waves off magic point though if you don't mind a small hike and grey nurse sharks

Re: Ebay Bargains thread

I knew you'd buy it. Oh well good luck to you. Remember. It's a board built for point breaks. Not lumpy sectioning beach breaks. "Collect" as many of those type of boards as you like, but a wave like maroubra will never let it see its full potential. While this ENE swell is running take the fkn thin...

Re: Neal Purchase Jnr Quartet

A mate up in qld had a quartet. Surfed with him in some sprinty two footers at Tugun a couple of years ago. It looked pretty damned quick down the line. As you'd expect from a low rockered twinzer.

Re: Where did you surf today ?

Any good barrels or beltings going down at angas? I got a good solid belting on a shifty set wave. Ended up a shave too deep paddling in and got suspended in the lip momentarily then it let go and launched me full cartwheel over the falls right into the impact zone.
