A few, slept all day yesterday and went hunting today didnt go out anywhere on the north shore though. Pipe in the morning was looking good if not to big for me and crowded. They keep comparing this swell coming to the one in 69 so i dont think ill be surfing andywhere on the north shore any time so...

Watched it from further down the beach 100m or so from the big set up. Was pretty cool to watch, hearing all the hooting etc.

To be honest i didnt even realise it was the final until the end

Surfline were calling pipe 15-20ft with 25fters coming through this morning.

This is something I'm pretty interested in but I can't find this sort of stuff anywhere. Google was fairly fruitless so I'm turning to RS in the hope of an answer. I wonder how a politician would react to being dropped in on, snaked, abused etc. Imagine if your the guy Tony Abbott punched out in the surf You'd be famous.

Don your making it out to be something insanely big. Where would either of you two suggest heading to to watch it? I fly in on the weekend but honestly havn't really looked into the forecasts / surf spots over there apart from a little peak at surf atlas.

I got dropped in on, snaked and a harsh stink eye today. It was 1ft on the bigger sets. Now i remember why i dont surf on weekends.

tell ya what. I'm going to Hawaii on Dec 6, coming home on the 21st. I'll have 21 surfs while I'm there ... Im going to hawaii from the 5th to the 12th ... ill have 21 surfs while im there... Just imagine if these two hooked up over there. Imagine the guilt you'd have waking up next to NC, or Revo ...

First rock DY to clubhouse. Not sure how long that is. 200m maybe??

Saw a wave close out from right on the rocks at the point to a bit past the clubhouse this arvo. Was wondering wtf everyone was doing when i drove up no one siting remotely near any of the take off spots. Over all waves were pretty shitty though.

Odds are i saw both of you... My highlight: dropping in on that SUP

Anyone head to pipe today? Was going to but got lazy and i assume itd be pretty crowded. Maybe even a bit to big for pipe?

i got out at about 630 barstardos and was there till about 930ish (although i surfed the beachie after 2 waves). Dont think your missing to much judging by how it was when i left.
I might head down on low tide and see whats around.
