Have stripped & reshaped plenty of boards in my time.... my very first board became my very fourth board (circa 1978) Hard to find boards worth the time & effort,but still possible......I'm sure RV will post a picture of his latest creation.....I'm lucky the kitchen sink is still in the kitchen!

Obviously , there wasnt enough technology used in the construction! I think you needed a carbon-kevlar vacuum bagged composite sandwich tungsten titanium legrope plug, with a parabolic balsa pin.
