Re: Fin choice
another thing to consider is how much rail your fin selection will commit to a turn, especially in regards to longboards - I find that large sider fins on a long board with a flattish tail rocker may pull more rail down into the water than you can handle - which also references sickpigs point; if yo...

Re: Australian surfers are bogans

Of course maybe...

Re: The Surf Helmet Discussion
Concussions are serious business and shouldn't be laughed off in the same way getting a few stitches or a scar is. CTE is a massive emerging issue among Gridiron players of all ages in the US, and I imagine it's probably an undiagnosed issue amongst our sportspeople and general population here as we...

Re: Cutbacks on a longboard
faarg me dead, I don't know whether anyone answered your original question Buzzy, it seemed to degenerate pretty quickly... Anyway, if you want that foam bounce thing you wanna go as light as you can and make sure you are aiming your re-entry correctly, ie turning just under the top of the section t...

Re: Fuel TV
I concur with anti UFC rants and the associated deterioration of Fuel as a channel worth watching... to be fair since I got back from the ol' US of A I haven't found much joy in aussie TV, FTA or Pay... Have been seriously considering this thing called A2BTV, very expensive, but the channels you get...

Re: Victorian Longboard Titles 2011
one is with big mr T on this and that is why one does not compete anymore because one thinks the essence of longboarding is slipping away You're growing on me sunshine, I concur wholeheartedly, though I am looking to get back to a few contests, it will be on my terms and more for the social side th...

Re: MALJAM 2011
one has surfed against the great magoo at the logger head classic in scotts head on the north coast of nsw the man himself surfed in the opens and he was in his very late 60s or early 70s and just schooled every person in that heat (and subsequent heats aswell) on just how to ride a log . the only ...
