Re: Ask Carroll
I got my first fibo second hand off the second best surfer on Bribie, Jack, my lifelong friend. He bought it off the best surfer on the island, Peter Box, who we all idolised because he surfed like Cheyne Horan. It was a 5'6" single flyer pintail single fin shaped by Tony Cerff. A Bare Nature with a...

Re: QuikPro Forey
maybe if I could borrow that horrible upside down cock of Reggies.
I'm sure no-one would interrupt my work if I was waving that thing around in the queensland sun.
I could hand it back with a few skin cancers.

A legal document is only worth what you are prepared to spend in a court of law enforcing it.Braithy wrote:
Their waiver form is a legal document, is it not?
And if contravenes common law and case law precedent then it is not worth the paper it is written on. or cyber-space.

Not possible. Copyright belongs to the creator unless they are designated employees. Law is clear.

Re: QuikPro Forey
I just got back from there.
The bank is superb and very shallow.
They'll have no probs running in two to three feet of any kind of swell from the eastern to south-eastern quadrant, no matter how low the period. If they have SE winds it'll be side/offshore and they will go, go, go baby.

Re: Summer 2013-'14
Unbelievable rainfall figures this summer.
28.8 for Feb so far smack bang in the middle of the summer monsoon.
490 last Feb.
190 is the average for Feb.
Models coming on line for a CS cyclone next week. Maybe in time for the Quikpro. Maybe.

Re: Summer 2013-'14
it was three feet on the sets.
buried under the high tide.
banks came to life as the water drained off but the nor-easter ruined it on the points.
wouldv'e been fun at a few backbeaches today but I didn't have the time to hunt.

Re: Where did you surf today ?
I've ridden it in all kinds of surf.....it does a great job in join the dots point surf, small runners of any kind or even some grunty beachy.
but like all bonzers it needs enough wave space to get right up to speed.
