Re: Quiver thread
That was a very eloquent way of summing up what I have thought for a while. My standard shortie has been 6'4" ish and have had a go and chubbier, shorter options and have never felt comfortable on the 6'0" versions of boards with similar volumes as my 6'4".

Re: Where did you surf today ?
nearly snapped my magic green board in pissy two-footers. two crease-depressions on back-to-back waves, one through the nose, another 3/4 the down from the nose. i'm at that critical point in the board's life where a choice needs to be made. the shaper no longer exists to make me a new one. do i sh...

How so. I've been averaging four days surfing a week at least since this thing started. Don't worry you're close behind. Though the rest of the peanut gallery are too busy chiming in with pretty little quips, no doubt whilst nursing hangovers, making their way to the bottom of a big bag of Doritos ...

Re: Where did you surf today ?
Don't get me wrong. The goldie is a steaming pile of yawed shit right now. Gentrification has set in, the migration from Sydney has overwhelmed the joint beyond recognition and the place is bloated far beyond critical mass. That's the story of the last decade. It was decent before that, but in the ...

Just had a few hours at North Steyne. Clean as a whistle, great shape and improving as the tide dropped. Relatively uncrowded for a Saturday arvo.
Managed to not kook quite a few waves.

It's neither good nor bad, it's just a thing. Naturally pain reaction from the tiny tears that you create in your muscles when you put strain on them.
