That was a very eloquent way of summing up what I have thought for a while. My standard shortie has been 6'4" ish and have had a go and chubbier, shorter options and have never felt comfortable on the 6'0" versions of boards with similar volumes as my 6'4".

Only that whenever I feel up boards at a shop, the boards under 6'0" look tiny to me. Personal preference is all.

Just had a few hours at North Steyne. Clean as a whistle, great shape and improving as the tide dropped. Relatively uncrowded for a Saturday arvo.

Managed to not kook quite a few waves.

My neighbour is heading to the Mentawis this arvo. I think Freshie or Queenscliff will be better.
