Re: Bong in big trouble

Hey go easy on the rugby. The AFL deserves all the shit you're about to give it though.

upward/downward marketing as opposed to lateral marketing, BA. It means that they can control the distribution and sale of their product more thoroughly, as well as affecting their competitor's marketing.

Re: Quiksilver Pro 2012

Got down here early at 5 this morning to get a sesh in, got faded by Occy and Mick fanning constantly haha... If you haven't got stickers, you don't get waves during contest time. I'm currently watching Dane and Taj go head to head, Parko just absolutely outclassed that bloke from Byron

Re: Quiksilver Pro 2012

I remember having this discussion a while back with Fong, and his crazed ambition to wreck every tour event possible, but I would like to know... While the contest at Snapper is on, am I able to surf snapper at all? Or does the comp have rights to every wave in that area during contest time?

Re: legropes

Magnetic fields. One of the magnets is placed in your ankle, surgically, and the other is placed on the tail of the board. That way the board is drawn back to you automatically AND the magnetic fields warn off sharks.

Quiksilver Pro 2012

So, what's the story. As far as I can tell, there is no swell on the way and the only sand I can see is at D'bah. Is this going to be a flop or what?

Re: Tangents and non surf talk

why add gaysie, shit I offered a board when he asked, pulled over a bunch of times along the goldy, fine board for a bigger fella anyway, we took it up the creek looking for platypus, so it's full of deep scratches now. Pulled off or pulled over? I suspect the former. Keeping to the speed limit get...

Re: surf rage. solved. apparently...

This has all the official info on it. Including the actual volumes of sand pumped. http://www.tweedsandbypass.nsw.gov.au/ BTW, I wouldn't classify this as an agenda-free document either. Read with a sceptical/inquiring eye and mind. One thing that knows no borders - wanky politicans and their agend...

Re: surf rage. solved. apparently...

They are only starting to return now, and its no surprise that no sand has been pumped since 2009. But throughout 2001 up until 2009, you could count the really good (beachie) days on one hand per year, when it should have been more like a score of them, minimum. It sure smelt like they were pumpin...

Oh yeah, I'm a god amongst men. I don't have any qualms with that. You should all just accept it.

I don't want to fork out the money for the straddy ferry, but i'm a little scarred over my last experience. Also, it seems like sharks up here are more vicious.
