Re: review of Mccoy Astron Zot

Here is an interesting thread re: mccoy quads. Personally, i think that everything works.....to an extent. Given that sweet potatoes, pier ponies etc are quads from mccoy genetics if you like mccoys and quads, i reckon you d be happy. If you re into mccoys, I reckon it would be awesome to play aroun...

Re: that wetsuit discussion...

Get a towel, lay suit on top, roll up then walk up down the whole lot a couple times.. That works ok for a quick dry :) On a different subject - any of you guys ever ordered a custom suit? If I ever have the cash, I will always consider this option. They just seem to work well and last longer as th...

No, my wettie is starting its 3rd season and has already been repaired 3 times. I am not confident it will make it through this season.

Re: Diverse™ Blatant Tomo MPH ripoff

Hi Jason, What kind of quad fins did the Felix have in it? Also curious about the plug placement? My broad bean is rail centric as opposed to the common McKee placement. Asking because I seem to recall the first Felix's having thruster plugs (without going back to look on page 1). Surfed my broad b...

Re: Diverse™ Blatant Tomo MPH ripoff

Question for feral dave: When you compare the paddling of the Chopper with the Diverse MPH, I'm guessing the Chopper will be more practical in that area right? I know the whole parallel outline and wide-tail theory is supposed to create a better paddling board even with low volume, but from my expe...

Re: Show us your guns!

Hi Morgan, Cuttles put me onto the bonzer side fins for my 5"11 2+1 which has a wide diamond tail. Cuttlefish has his in longer boards with a narrower tail, however, in our opinion, they work well in both types of board. They quicken the board, have good drive, good hold and give a nice little squir...

Hi Mark, You should be able to right click on the pic and select "view image". It's called a GM on Dave's site but don't think he has any stock boards atm. If you've got Image shack then this link should work... http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/404/dsc00002ik.jpg/ And then you can see the other...

Is it just me or is the commentary getting worse as the year wears on? Martin potter a former world champ who knows how to win a heat the old school way is my favorite. Re: SHRED SLED

Thanks for the detailed feedback braithy, did you choose the thruster set up because of your personal preference or is the board designed to be a thruster? I have often thought that boards are either a thruster or a quad the 5/4/3 set up could be detrimental to some boards/surfers. Also, why did you...

Re: SHRED SLED

just curious ,what is the price of those boards ? I was quoted $895 today which i think is the price for this technology. You wouldnt want to be paying this much for GSI board which i was looking at, for that much i would want mine to be made in Australia. They look a nice design though, and i d lo...
