Re: Repair Tips

Yep, get a plastic medicine cup... use one all the time, they think I’m nuts. :D Then use an eye dropper to dispense the catalyst. 1% is about 21 drops per 50 g (near enough to 50 mL) of resin, you can pull back a bit (lot) especially if in volume. that's what i'm using. baby medicines also come wi...

There is a new feature for all us armchair critics in the video on demand page. You can select single waves from any heat and add them to a playlist, then play them in sequence. http://72.47.192.85/~lachlan/videos.php pretty awesome feature, hope it sticks around. You don't get the same sense of the...

Re: What's your longest break from surfing?

hang in there mate
i've had a number of potentially very serious back and neck injuries, they aren't fun

you'll have to do management for life, but if you take the rest and rehab seriously you will see the light eventually.

2 happy customers, no cash involved, everything conducted easily and amicably.

we both got boards that probably suit our styles better.

makes me wonder why this section of the site isn't more popular?

Re: Annual ANZAC swell again?

no worries as far as i can recall, 3 of the 4 non-directionals in NSW will be replaced this year. Can't remember which ones, and it may not work quite that quick...until recently the waverider program wasn't given funding priority. they were also changing over the Sydney buoy on thursday morning, so...

Re: Annual ANZAC swell again?

by the way, for those forecasters arguing about refraction and timing etc... i drove from Warilla back to Sydney monday after lunch, and checked every beach and point on the way. The first sign of the S swell was at Stanwell Park. The swell seemed to really fill in and jump about 4:30pm at Wanda, th...

Re: Annual ANZAC swell again?

Craig, any thoughts on the spike in period registered on the Sydney buoy just after midnight on 25th? [/attachment] hey don, was talking to the guy who manages the nsw waverider buoy program about exactly the same thing on thursday! he said that it is due to transmission issues between the buoy and...

Re: Designs for front foot and backfoot surfers

probably should have been a bit more specific... i like tail kick a lot, but i don't like gradual tail rocker starting from further forward. i'm not an advanced surfer by any means, and i'm moving down from longboards and hybrids, so i'm not normally in or near the pocket either, or turning off the ...

it'll probably be in your local cash converters by the end of the week

Re: Designs for front foot and backfoot surfers

But the first thing you should try and do is correct your surfing technique if you do that. i'm working on it...the first step is to acknowledge the problem.. :) having broken both feet badly, my lower back, and neck, I'm never going to be great, and I am working within those limitations. rails are...
