I did watch the Langland webcam on the day. It was a bit chunky, but I must say the surfer behaviour was mystifying.

Those waves do look like tiddlers. Pretty though. But I agree, probably far too cold to bother with for us spoiled Aussies.
In east coast Australian conditions, you would go out for a relaxed scenic paddle, but that’s while you are waiting for some swell to arrive.

Longtom on Beachgrit is refusing to cover one more Freshwater Pro.
One of things he can’t do again is he “Can’t watch ’em squat down for that tube.”

I agree. Watching them squat down for that tube is the most dispiriting sight in surfing.
