Re: New WSL tour
Stu Nettle on Swellnet made the point that this appeared during the video. https://i.imgur.com/dt3Zy7U.png If accurate, “There are 12 gaps, ostensibly indicating the CT begins in mid-April. Considering Easter can be as early as March 22nd, that puts a question mark over the inclusion of Bells in the...

Re: Just general surfing stuff
Absolutely. I saw Nathan Florence saying JJF told him, you’ve got to let go of the rail. Imagine how’d you go at the skate park if you were locked on to the rail. You’d be ridiculed.
I mean, fine, do it, but you might as well try kneeboarding.

Re: Just general surfing stuff
There should be a rule that chastens stand up surfers who hold the rail for extended periods of time on a wave. It’s semi body boarding. It’s cheating.

Re: Where did you surf today ?
Who are all these people? I’m assuming there is not many from Qld. Do you reckon there’s just a lot of surfers on the north coast if everybody decides to pull out their surfboard.

Re: The Tulla Tub
Went to the tub today. Had a sub par session but the whole experience was marred by a serious customer service fail. The siren for last wave had gone everyone was lined up for their waves, when about 10 people who I assumed where the lifesavers swam past the line of surfers to the take off zone and...

Re: The Tulla Tub
The creative thing about Waco is that they didn’t seem constrained by thinking they should closely mimic regular ocean waves.

Re: The Tulla Tub
The Tulla tub looks a short fun wave. What makes it good is the number of waves you can get. Steve wrote that he rode 42 waves in two hours. You are not going to get that at the beach.
