My guess is the photo is from the big ECL in early September 1967.

With eating dead whales, that shark timidity would seem to be mostly timidity towards other sharks. Sharks generally appear careful to defer to bigger sharks. Even relatively small differences in size seem to be acknowledged in setting up the pecking order.

At 6am at the Sunshine Coast Airport this morning it was 6 degrees Celsius. You are allowed to wear a wetsuit.

mm, the colour can be easily fixed. Spray the red/orange bit to make it white and then whack on this sticker over the El Capitan.
