Womble is crazy. Apart from the camera and lenses all you need is a tripod. But even thats not necessary if your just carrying it around with you. Although it does help make me think more about composition of the image. Dont get the twin lens kit. You will just replace those lenses sooner or later, ...

I would say grab a cheaper body second hand. Spend the saved money on some quality lenses. Over time the body will get replaces but you always keen good glass.

As for editing, photoshop or lightroom will do. Available from all good downloading sites.

Surfed Newcastle main from about 6 till dark. Was fun 3-4ft with a peak to myself and one other about 100m down the beach from 20+ people.. suckers.

Thats unheard of to me and so far out there i cant even contemplate it. I would rather surf by myself than with 10 people even if it means surfing waves 1/4 of the quality. Bodyboard world tour for the last few years has been pathetic. Cant remember the last time a comp was held in demanding, good waves. Surfing is fine because it can acomodate to shitty waves however bodyboarders need high performance waves. Basically leads to a poor cycle since its such a small sport...

Ive got one. Its fun to use, makes you charge more aswell. Plus fun to catch your mates from the channel paddling back out.
