Rode my 6'0 Quadather for the first time yesterday arvo in that little NW swell pulse - so stoked on it for a first session, it's much more lively than the 6'3 but surfs in a very similar manner of course, the f...

Work of art Beery/Josh

Can you explain in 25 words or less what effect the little extra fins have, they couldn't add THAT much more hold could they? Do they affect water flow over the keels or somethin?

Re: Where did you surf today ?

Can't camp that side anymore Braithy, bloody conservation! (jokes) Was up that east beach for a week at Easter blowing >20 onshore every day while it was pumping offshore mornings here but the swell wasn't right for the point on the other side, so it was fat as and a super strong current. Also manag...

Re: People are soooo deluded they make me sick !!!!

However, having a board under you that is matched to your style will have dramatically different outcomes. They aren't changing the way they surf, but the craft is respond...

Re: Reef booties feel loose - any proven solutions?

I always put extra holes in the top side of my booties to let any water out that is pushed in when you go to take off. Helps heaps.

Sure. I'll hand it over to you in the Caloundra supermarket car park again.
In other words, "after me".

You are a southerner compared to me, Trev, so you're after me.

Re: the young clubbie killed at the aust titles on the goldy

moreorless I've never thought of it that way. Imagine the number of injuries/deaths we'd have in surfing with the number of people in the water these days if everyone was still on 10' wooden boards. trev but in league kids need to be certain age now before they tackle and have scrums etc etc, and in...

Re: the young clubbie killed at the aust titles on the goldy

What did asking Saxon Bird's family for comment achieve? It's a tragedy for both Saxon and Matt, but asking the still bereaved Bird parents to be judge and jury on this latest case does none of the parties any good.
